# Managing Users

User management is handled in the **Users** section, located under\
**Settings → Subscription → Users**.

This screen provides an overview of all active users and their permissions across the companies within the selected subscription

### User Overview

The table displays the following information for each user:

* **Email, First Name, Last Name**\
  Identifying details for the user.
* **Latest Activity**\
  Shows the user’s most recent login or interaction.
* **Tenant Role**\
  The user’s role at the subscription level (e.g. Admin or Viewer).
* **Company Roles**\
  Each company is shown as a separate column, displaying the user’s role within that specific company.

### Managing Existing Users

For each user, click the **three dots** at the end of the row to:

* Update the user’s role per company
* Remove the user from the subscription

### Inviting New Users

To add a new user:

* Click the **Invite User** button in the top-right corner
* Assign the appropriate tenant role and company-level permissions

### Company Roles & Permissions

Within each company, users can be assigned one of the following roles.

**Admin**

* Full access to everything within the company
* Can manage settings, financial accounts, reports, and user permissions

**Contributor**

* Access to reports and manual input screens
* Can enter and edit data in manual input screens
* Cannot adjust:
  * Company settings
  * Financial accounts
  * Structural configurations

**Viewer**

* Read-only access to reports
* No access to manual input or configuration screens

### Additional Restrictions

For **Contributors** and **Viewers**, access can be further restricted:

* **Report Groups** – limit access to specific report groups
* **Business Dimensions** – restrict visibility to selected dimension members
* **Journal Drill-down** – disable drill-down to journal entries by restricting analytics access

These options allow you to fine-tune access while maintaining control over sensitive financial data.

For example, restricting analytics access prevents users from drilling down to journals while still allowing access to selected report groups such as Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
