# Which accounting systems does Smartbooks support?

Smartbooks integrates with the following accounting systems:

| System | Connection |
| ------------ | ------------ |
| Exact Online | Self-service |
| Twinfield | Self-service |
| QuickBooks | Self-service |
| AFAS | Self-service |
| Odoo | Self-service |
| Exact Globe | Contact us |

For Exact Globe, please reach out to our team to set up the connection.

#### Can I connect multiple accounting systems?

Yes. Each entity (company) in Smartbooks connects to its own accounting system. You can mix and match — for example, one entity on Exact Online and another on Twinfield.

#### How do I connect an accounting system?

When creating a new entity in Smartbooks, you select the accounting system during the setup process. Smartbooks will guide you through the authentication and configuration steps.

#### Setting up multiple companies from the same accounting system

Create a separate entity in Smartbooks for each company. During entity setup, you select the same accounting system and then choose the specific administration (or division) you want to connect to that entity.

#### Does Smartbooks support API connections with other systems?

Yes. In addition to the standard accounting integrations, Smartbooks offers API connections to integrate with other systems in your tech stack. This allows you to push or pull data between Smartbooks and tools like BI platforms, data warehouses, or custom applications.

Contact our team to discuss your specific integration needs.
