# How can I change the names of the Planning categories?

Currently, it is not possible to rename planning categories in Smartbooks. The naming is fixed to the format **"Budget {year}"** or **"Forecast {year}"**. Only one Budget and one Forecast can exist per year, so custom variants such as "Forecast 2025 - Optimistic" are not possible.
