# Adding Manual Input Screens

Before editing actuals, budgets, or forecasts, you must first create a new manual input screen. To do this, navigate to **Settings → Manual Input**. Here you'll see a list of existing manual input screens (note: manual input screens from modules must be managed within their respective module sections). To add a new manual input screen, click the plus icon labeled **Create New Manual Input Screen**. You’ll then be taken to an empty screen where you can configure the manual input reports to suit your budgeting and forecasting needs by specifying the rows and structure you want to see. (How to configure these settings will be explained in the next section.)

Please note: If you do not set rows or planning categories that are available during configuration, the screen will not display properly. In that case, you must re-enter the newly created report through the manual input screen in Settings to adjust the parameters.
