# Creating a Consolidated Company

## **Create a consolidated company**

1. **Access the Companies Section:**
   * Go to **Settings**, then select **Subscriptions**, and click on the **Companies** tab.
2. **Create a Consolidation Company:**
   * At the top-right of the screen, click the **Create Consolidation Company** button.
   * Once created, the consolidated entity will appear in the entity selector at the top-left of the screen. Now we'll need to specify the consolidation structure.

## Defining the consolidation strucutre

1. **Define the Consolidation Structure:**
   * Select the consolidated entity from the entity selector.
   * Navigate to **Settings** and choose **Consolidation**.
   * Here, you can drag and drop entities into the consolidation folder.
   * For each entity, specify the owner and the ownership percentage.
2. **Creating Subconsolidations:**
   * If needed, you can further organize your consolidation by adding subconsolidations.
   * Click the **three dots** (or points) and select **Add Subconsolidation** to create a new subfolder for grouping entities.

After you've created the consolidation structure, a ribbon will appear on the consolidation screen prompting you to confirm the account structure for the consolidation. In the next sections, we'll explain how to set up the financial account structures in the subsidiaries to ensure the consolidated structure is properly configured.
