# Consolidated Metrics

Consolidated metrics work differently from consolidated budgets. Unlike budgets, you cannot automatically consolidate metrics from underlying entities into the consolidated entity. However, you can create metrics at the consolidated level for actuals. The process for creating these metrics is identical to that for non-consolidated entities; please refer to the Metrics section for more details.

You can also add consolidated manual input screens by following the steps outlined in the budgetting section.
