# Changing Reporting Periods in Bulk

For administrative convenience, Smartbooks also supports **bulk updates** of reporting periods.

This option is **only intended for moving multiple entities at once** and is **not the standard way** to manage reporting periods.

Bulk updates can be performed via:\
**Settings → Reporting Periods**

From this screen you can:

1. Select entities that are still in a previous period
2. Choose the new reporting period in the top-right corner
3. Click **Move**

Within a few seconds, the selected entities will be moved to the new reporting period.
