# Integration page

This screen displays the status of your integration with the source system and provides an overview of recent data synchronizations, including:

* **Start Time and End Time:** Indicates when each synchronization began and finished.
* **Status:** Shows whether the synchronization was successful (✓) or if an error occurred.

At the top-right, you will find two key controls:

* **Synchronize Data:** \
 Manually triggers a new data refresh. This is useful if you want to update your data immediately rather than waiting for the automatic schedule.
* **Connection:** \
 Opens the connection settings, where you can renew authorization, modify connection parameters (such as selecting the business dimension to use—either Cost Centers or Cost Units), or disconnect Smartbooks from the source system.

To modify your connection settings, click the Connection button and select Edit. In the connection configuration screen, you can adjust the following:

* **Divisions:** \
 Refers to the company administration you want to associate with your Smartbooks entity.
* **Business Dimensions:** \
 Choose between Cost Centers or Cost Units. Note that Smartbooks supports only one business dimension at a time.

After making the necessary changes, click Save. Finally, synchronize the data to ensure that the system applies your updates.

If the data ceases to refresh automatically, it indicates that synchronization with the source system has been lost. To restore the connection, navigate to Settings and then select the Integration screen.

When an issue with the connection occurs, an error message will be displayed. To resolve this, click Renew Authorization to reestablish the connection with the source system.
