# Aging Analysis

Analyze outstanding receivables and payables by age bucket — at entity level or across your entire consolidation.

### Overview

The Aging Analysis gives you a real-time overview of open invoices, broken down by how long they have been outstanding. It is available for both **receivables** (debtors) and **payables** (creditors), and works at both individual entity level and consolidated level.

At the top of the view, three summary tiles show:

* **Total Receivables** — total outstanding amount, number of debtors, and number of invoices
* **Total Payables** — total outstanding amount, number of creditors, and number of invoices
* **Net Position** — the difference between receivables and payables

### Aging Buckets

Open invoices are categorized into five standard buckets based on the number of days overdue:

| Bucket | Description |
| ------------------ | ------------------------------- |
| Current | Not yet due |
| 1–30 Days Overdue | 1 to 30 days past due date |
| 31–60 Days Overdue | 31 to 60 days past due date |
| 61–90 Days Overdue | 61 to 90 days past due date |
| > 90 Days Overdue | More than 90 days past due date |

Each cell shows both the total amount and the number of invoices in that bucket. Clicking on a cell reveals the underlying invoices and which relation they belong to.

### Consolidated View

When working in a consolidation, the aging analysis aggregates data from all selected companies. You can choose which companies to include using the **Select Companies** button at the top of the view.

This is particularly useful for group-level credit risk management and cash flow planning.

### Hiding Relations

You can hide specific relations from the aging analysis using the **Show hidden relations** toggle. This is especially useful for filtering out **intercompany relations**, giving you a clean view of only external outstanding amounts.

Hidden relations are excluded from the totals, so the summary tiles reflect only the visible (external) positions.

### Relation Groups

Using the **Relation Groups** feature (top-right corner), you can group multiple relations together. Common use cases include:

* Grouping multiple relations that belong to the same external party (e.g., different branches of the same customer)
* Grouping all intercompany parties together for easy filtering

Grouped relations appear as a single collapsible row in the aging table, showing the combined totals with the ability to expand and see individual relations within the group.
